1.3 Million verified hours: How Hopkins Homes runs its sites on One.site’s workforce and safety platform

Hopkins Homes, part of Untypical Group, is one of the largest independent and privately-owned property developers, based in East Anglia. With multiple sites and a workforce spread across multiple locations, keeping site operations consistent, compliant, and efficient is a daily requirement.

Hopkins Homes started using One.site in October 2023. Since then they’ve used the platform on 19 sites, and they’ve recently renewed across all 13 of their active sites.

With multiple sites running in parallel, the administrative weight of managing inductions, check-ins, and attendance records falls mainly to site managers, who are notoriously busy on site.

The challenge is well understood: Inductions delivered face-to-face eat into site managers’ mornings, then latecomers disrupt the day with another induction needed after lunch.

But that’s not all, as paper sign-in sheets start piling up at the gate, which could become weather-damaged, and are almost impossible to cross-reference at speed.

• 11,181 inductions completed since October 2023. At approximately 30 minutes per face-to-face induction, that's over 5,500 hours of site manager time returned to running the site, roughly 700 working days.
  
• 123,381 check-ins in the last 12 months. Against a paper-based system, One.site digital check in solution saves a minimum of two minutes per operative at the gate. That's over 500 working days recovered from site entry in a single year.
  
• 1,313,747 man hours recorded since October 2023. This is every hour logged, timestamped, and attributable to a named, inducted operative. In total, that’s over 164,000+ operative days of verified, auditable site attendance which are searchable in seconds, and defensible in audits.
